WESTCO™ RETARDER E N-phenyl-N-[(trichloromethy)thio]-benzene sulphonamide CAS# 2280-49-1
WESTCO™ Retarder E is an effective scorch retarding additive in rubber compounds, especially in those based on EPDM polymers. It delays the onset of cure but does not significantly slow cure rate or state of cure. Commonly used in closed cell EPDM and EPDM blend sponge compounds.
