WESTCO™ AO-3114 Tris-(3,5 di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)-isocyanurate CAS# 27676-62-6
WESTCO™ AO-3114 is a high purity, high molecular weight, hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is non-discoloring and non-staining. It has low volatility and is essentially non-extractable in polyolefin processing and end use. It has good color retention, good UV stability and no odor. It provides superior protection against oxidative degradation caused by heat, light or processing conditions in a variety of polymers including polyolefin’s and in adhesive formulations. It is highly recommended in polypropylene film, fiber and mineral filled compounds. It may also be used in polyester, nylon, synthetic rubber and tackifying resins. In polyolefin’s, it is typically used at 0.05% to 0.3%, depending on stability requirements.
